October

Autumn is my favourite season.
I usually love October, but so far its yucky.....

My job makes me feel like this:
It's sucking the life out of me.

I'm getting even older this month, soon I'll look like this:
I guess I wouldn't hate my birthday if I felt like I'd achieved something for the age I am, but I haven't so therefor getting older sucks the big one.

Tomorrow marks 2 years since we had to put my dog down
We'd had her for 14years and she got really ill so quickly that it was a total shock. I miss hearing her collar jingle so you could tell when was approaching. She was such a lovely pooch.

Things that may cheer me up:

Birthday treats :)
I know it's totally greedy, but everyone loves a gift right!?! I don't expect anything but I already have my pressies from my best friend, it's taking all my will power to not open them early hehe.

Halloween:
In my adult life I have not been to a Halloween party. Fact. I mainly just sit about watching "horror" movies, which is what I'll be doing this year. I really want to one day experience a Halloween in America, I think it would be super fun.

And hopefully seeing this:
A Vampire Rock Musical. It sounds delightfully cheesy and my friend and I must see it!

Cinema Outtings

So I finally got round to seeing a couple of films that I've been wanting to see.

Firstly I saw:
This was a really great movie. It's the type of film that you have to pay attention to but it's well worth it.
It was visually stunning, the special effects are so well done.
An interesting and original story line. In fact movies like this make me wonder how on earth anyone was able to think up such an idea.
All the acting was great, plus little Ellen Page was in it and I think she's adorable.
I would super strongly recommend this film and if you can catch it at the cinema before it ends do so!

It's about these agents that get into your dreams to steal information. Leo's character has some issues which sometimes get brought into these dreams. He gets hired to plant an idea in someones subconscious, which to create a plot is a difficult task to do so - he has to create a dream within a dream within a dream. He puts a team together and sets to work........bring on the amazing visuals, twisty turny plot and awesome action.

If that lame overview didn't sell it to you, check out the imdb page and it's whopping 9.1/10 rating!

My rating:

And last night I saw this:

It was soooooooooooooooooooooo much fun! Loved it. If you're a bit of a geek or even a lot of a geek then you'll love it too. I was entertained throughout.
The soundtrack was so awesome, I'm going to try and get the bf to d/l it for me.
This movie was is well done. I will admit that I haven't read the graphic novels (yet- the first one has now been ordered) but the movie literally is like a live action comic book/video game.
If you like other Michael Cera films, then you'll love this one too. There are some genius fight scenes and some hilarious laugh out loud moments.
Also I dare you to not watch it and want Ramona's hair afterwards.

This film also gets my 2 enthusiastic thumbs up rating:
